They do need to be taught about being an enviro kid for three years hikanui school have been working with the Hamilton city council, the University of Waikato,and community groups to turn Hikanui into an enviroschool. in 1980 native trees were planted at the edge of a large gully on the school grounds in 1993 all of the land got cleared and a pathway got put in

- There are over 20 no where areas in our school	-In parkvale school their shouldn't be any rubbish but their is.	-It is really good to reduce,reuse and recycle	the school should get the green team back together or get some new green team members to add new flowers and vegetables
